Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks an Engineering Technician, Equipment to perform corrective and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, packaging lines, and instrumentation on site in Barceloneta, PR. The role requires calibration, programming, configuration, and repair work across electrical, electronic, and control systems in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include reading diagrams, supporting Control Engineers, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and OSHA.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Technology of Industrial Instrumentation, Industrial Mechanics, Electronics or Electronic Engineering Technology.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Electrical / Electronic, PLC, Controls, Instrumentation/ Calibration, basic HVAC and basic Utilities.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Industrial Mechanics, HVAC and/or Utilities. Experience on repair mechanical, hydraulic and/or electro-pneumatic systems.
• Puerto Rico Electrician’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle/Assemble equipment, replace instrument, electrical, control and mechanical defective parts; modify production equipment as needed to improve performance.
• Read, interpret and use drawings, electrical and control circuit diagrams including P&ID and ladder diagrams in performing work.
• Provide support to Control Engineer on troubleshooting PLC and control devices for process and manufacturing equipment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in multiple skilled trade disciplines including Predictive Maintenance Technologies and support RCAs/RCMs.
• Repair, inspect, modify, calibrate instrumentation equipment and perform preventive or corrective maintenance for pharmaceutical manufacturing processes per cGMP/OSHA.
• Calibrate and certify instruments used in operation or manufacturing processes and document calibrations per calibration procedures.
• Carry out maintenance tasks (Preventive, Predictive, Corrective, Calibration) safely and in compliance with CMMS and MEPS.
