Job summary

F&P America Manufacturing, a long‑standing Troy company, seeks an Equipment Engineering Manager to lead the equipment group in new model launches. This on-site role requires directing the engineering team, planning process plans, coordinating equipment procurement, and managing the equipment investment budget.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing, plus leadership experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or technical degree in engineering preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing people in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in manufacturing equipment and process development.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Equipment group in the new model function.
• Develops and reviews process plans for welding and assembly for new model launches.
• Coordinate and schedule procurement of equipment.
• Plan and manage the investment budget for equipment purchases.
• Support installation of equipment and review manufacturing processes.
• Support department and company business plan goals and objectives.
