Job summary

Opus Epoxy is seeking an Epoxy and Polished Concrete Specialist for on-site work in Brooklyn, NY. The role focuses on surface preparation and applying durable epoxy coatings and polished finishes across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

You will mix materials, operate grinders and polishers, manage curing and sealing, and coordinate with crew and site management to ensure safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with epoxy flooring and surface prep.
• Ability to lift and move materials on site.
• Strong safety awareness and quality workmanship.
• Able to communicate progress with crew and supervisors.
• Previous concrete/flooring trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, grinding, repairing, and leveling.
• Mix and apply epoxy and resinous flooring systems.
• Operate polishing equipment and ensure proper curing and finishing.
• Assist with layout, basic formwork, and coordination with deliveries.
• Maintain tools and equipment and follow site safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the site lead or project manager on progress.
