Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist for our Lab & Onsite Support Services (Lab/OSS) team. The role supports client sites by managing hazardous waste programs and projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

You will develop regulatory expertise, prepare waste documents, conduct inspections, and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders to deliver safe, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hazardous-waste industry or relevant military experience.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex issues and implement solutions.
• Develop strong client relationships and manage safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate Health & Safety practices.
• Prepare chemical/biological waste for shipment incl. federal/state docs.
• Safely handle hazardous waste containers on client sites; load/unload waste.
• Conduct safety equipment and hazardous waste inspections.
• Occasionally perform EHS audits for clients.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide innovative solutions.
• Develop regulatory expertise to meet clients' compliance needs (RCRA, DOT, OSHA).
• Conduct spill response assessments and cleanup.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of Emergency Response (optional).
