Job summary

Wetland Studies and Solutions, Inc., a Davey company, seeks an environmental compliance technician to support projects across Hampton Roads, Virginia. You will perform inspections, develop SWPPP, and coordinate with federal and state agencies on wetlands and stormwater compliance.

Travel regionally is expected, and candidates should have 1-2 years of NPDES/VMRC/NWP experience, plus DEQ SWM/ESC inspector certifications.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience with NPDES/VMRC/NWP programs.
• Virginia DEQ SWM and ESC Inspector certifications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Experience with diverse public/private sector clients.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
• Preferred: 3-5+ years in NPDES inspections and SPCC/Hazardous Waste management.
• Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
