Job summary

High-Performance Conductors is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental compliance at its Inman, South Carolina facility. You will be the primary contact with regulators and oversee permits, reporting, audits, and program management across air quality, wastewater, and waste programs.

The role collaborates with Engineering, Maintenance, Plating Operations, and external consultants to ensure timely regulatory submissions, end-to-end compliance, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, chemistry, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or regulated settings.
• Strong knowledge of RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, Tier II, TRI, DOT hazard materials regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility's primary environmental contact for regulatory agencies (e.g., SC DES, EPA).
• Maintain the environmental compliance calendar and ensure inspections, monitoring, reporting, and submissions are completed on time.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, and information requests; manage incident and non-compliance notifications.
• Coordinate with plant leadership, Engineering, Maintenance, Plating Operations, and vendors to maintain continuous compliance.
• Oversee air quality, wastewater, stormwater, SPCC, RCRA, EPCRA, and related environmental programs.
