Job summary

JLL seeks an Engineering Manager for an on-site role to lead the Engineering Services team, ensuring safe, efficient operation of all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls) and aligning with client objectives.

You will oversee engineers and maintenance staff, develop preventive plans, enforce safety training, manage vendor relations, and support capital upgrades while maintaining accurate drawings and compliance documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, primary switch gear), cabling (data and voice, broadband), lighting and temperature controls systems, critical environments, and related maintenance activities.
• Supervise and manage engineers and maintenance staff including hiring, trade and position specific training and personal development.
• Identify maintenance objectives and develop a documented preventive, predictive and reactive plan with the Hard Services Lead and Account Director.
• Identify safety hazards and implement remediation and safety training programs.
• Assist in capital planning for infra-structure upgrades, equipment replacements and building modifications.
• Maintain compliance documentation and up-to-date drawings, manage contractor activities and reviews.
• Record readings, adjust operations to ensure proper equipment performance and manage inventory of tools and materials.
• Ensure safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
