Job summary

JLL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering Services team at a multi-building site in Wilmington, NC. You will oversee daily operations, safety, and compliance while coordinating with the client and external vendors to maintain building systems and infrastructure.

You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans, manage a team of engineers and technicians, and ensure accurate documentation, capital planning input, and incident reporting in line with contract

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering services teams at a site with multiple building systems.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance plans.
• Identify and remediate safety hazards in the facility.
• Assist in capital planning for infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accurate facility documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Engineering Services team.
• Oversee maintenance of fire/safety, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
• Supervise engineers and maintenance staff and coordinate training.
• Review contractor activities and ensure safety and quality.
• Maintain records, logs, and as-built drawings.
