The role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and documentation, with responsibilities spanning from requirements gathering to production readiness and occasional field testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 2–8 years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Proficient knowledge of PCB design tools (Altium Designer preferred).
• Good understanding of analog and digital circuit operation and design techniques.
• Proficient use of electrical test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Gather inputs and translate them into hardware requirements.
• Develop and maintain hardware specifications based on requirements and constraints.
• Build, instrument, and test proof-of-concept hardware to evaluate feasibility and risks.
• Design and document electrical schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer (preferred).
• Prototype and test circuits and troubleshoot issues using standard lab methods.
• Support manufacturing documentation to production readiness.
• Provide technical support to installation/field personnel.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation (drawings, test procedures, specs).
• Support field/environment testing to validate product performance.
