Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Electro-mechanical Quality Test Technician II to join our Knightdale, NC team. The role focuses on performing final tests and inspections on low and medium voltage equipment such as switchgear and breakers, with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift and an hourly rate of $27.35.

Applicants should have 3+ years in testing and troubleshooting electrical equipment, plus the ability to read schematics and work safely with Hi-pot testers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in testing, inspecting and troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and work with schematic drawings/layouts/wire lists, including circuit troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in English including reading, writing, and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Perform final electro-mechanical inspections on units and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct nondestructive tests and troubleshoot failures; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports; coordinate with Engineering during tests.
