Job summary

IES in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems on active job sites. You will review plans, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and code compliance while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of electrical experience, read blueprints, and maintain meticulous records. This on-site role requires travel to sites and adherence to safety standards in varying conditions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist with supporting and training less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
