Job summary

GH Engage is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee on-site delivery of complex electrical construction projects across New York City. The role focuses on leading field operations, supervising labour and subcontractors, and maintaining schedules to ensure adherence to project specifications and codes.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising field operations for electrical construction projects.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of project schedules and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily electrical construction activities from mobilization through commissioning and final handover.
• Supervise foremen, electricians, apprentices, subcontractors and specialist vendors.
• Allocate labour across work areas to achieve productivity targets and milestones.
• Establish clear daily priorities and communicate work requirements.
• Coordinate multiple work crews and maintain accountability for workmanship, safety, attendance and productivity.
• Conduct daily site walks to review progress and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain a consistent on-site presence as the primary field representative.
• Coordinate activities across occupied buildings and restricted-access areas.
