Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation in the Greater Twin Cities area is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to drive project planning, administration, purchasing, engineering, marketing, and installation for mid-sized electrical construction projects.

You will lead teams, maintain client relationships, and oversee bid processing, with emphasis on safety, quality, and schedule adherence while operating in a hybrid office/field environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a project manager in the electrical industry.
  • Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes and codes (e.g., NEC, OSHA).
  • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of manpower and resources.
  • Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the work.
  • Willingness and ability to train and educate assigned subordinates.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exemplifies organizational core values.

Job Description Summary

The Electrical Project Manager position is a dynamic opportunity that is the driving force behind project planning, administration, purchasing, engineering, marketing, and installation processes for small to medium‑size electrical construction projects including Commercial, Health Care, Data Center, and Light Industrial in the Greater Twin Cities area.

Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, and photocopiers. The position occasionally requires presence on construction job sites and may involve moving mechanical parts, uneven terrain, vibration, and noise. Appropriate personal protective equipment (hard hat, work boots, high‑visibility vest, eye protection, gloves) is required. Employees are frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to kneel, reach, stoop, crouch or crawl. The position may require lifting up to 25 pounds.

Compensation

Pay Range: $92,160.00 – $128,000.00. Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only.
