Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced Project Manager Electrical for a direct-hire role in Kansas City, MO. You will lead complex electrical construction projects from planning through commissioning, mentoring teams, and ensuring safe, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and coordinating with clients, A/E teams, and subcontractors. Travel to project sites as needed; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related experience.
• 6–10 years of project management experience in electrical construction.
• Strong ability to read electrical drawings and specs, and NEC compliance.
• Experience with budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proven leadership, communication, and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical construction projects from initiation to closeout and training.
• Develop schedules, budgets, logistics, and demobilization plans.
• Coordinate with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and inspections for quality and code compliance.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor negotiations, material expediting, and billing schedules.
• Enforce safety plans and develop risk assessments on site.
