Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company is seeking an EHS Technician for the Cayey campus to coordinate daily Environmental, Health, and Safety activities and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Requires an associate degree and at least two years in a regulated industry; OSHA certification is preferred. You will support EHS training, manage waste streams, and assist with regulatory reporting and ECO/CM activities.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree and at least two years in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharma, or biotech.
• Experience handling hazardous and biohazardous materials and supporting safety programs.
• OSHA certification and/or other EHS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the EHS team to ensure Cayey campus complies with regulatory requirements and company EHS procedures.
• Conduct routine safety, environmental, and compliance inspections and track related equipment.
• Support development and delivery of EHS training programs and communications.
• Maintain organized storage areas and manage waste segregation and disposal per regs.
• Assist in preparing environmental, health, and safety regulatory reports and permits.
