Job summary

BD is seeking an EHS Technician at the Cayey campus to coordinate and execute daily Environmental, Health, and Safety activities in a regulated setting. You will perform inspections, ensure SOP and regulatory compliance, and support training and communications for employees and contractors.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree with 2+ years in a regulated industry, experience handling hazardous materials, and OSHA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree and 2+ years in a regulated industry.
• Experience handling hazardous and biohazardous materials and safety programs.
• OSHA certification or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist EHS team to ensure Cayey campus complies with regulations and policies.
• Conduct routine safety, environmental, and compliance inspections.
• Support EHS training programs and awareness campaigns.
• Track inventory and condition of spill kits and emergency equipment.
• Maintain organized storage areas for hazardous materials and waste.
