Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist in Aiken, SC, on-site. The role partners with plant leadership to drive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead initiatives reducing injuries and environmental risk.

The successful candidate will have a 3+ year background in industrial settings, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency with MS Office. CSP certification is preferred; experience with environmental permits and data analysis is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, safety, engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CSP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental compliance and drive continuous EHS improvement.
• Lead safety initiatives, conduct regulatory inspections, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain permits and provide regulatory guidance to leadership.
• Support safety program development and execution on the plant floor.
• Collaborate with operations to prioritize safety and environmental stewardship.
