Job summary

Joseph Executive Search Ltd is seeking an EHSS professional for a permanent, full-time, on-site role in Skokie, Illinois. The successful candidate will report to the Snr Engineering Manager and will be responsible for developing environmental policies, conducting training, and leading safety initiatives.

With a Bachelor's degree in EHS or Engineering and three years of experience in manufacturing, the role offers a base salary up to $115,000 along with a 10% bonus and comprehensive benefits including health and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing business.
• Detailed knowledge of EHS regulations.
• Experience in developing environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Developing environmental policies and procedures & drive continuous improvement.
• Submit reports & permit renewals to agencies.
• Conduct annual refresher training to all employees.
• Investigate all accidents and near misses.
• Lead facility safety team walk-throughs.
• Develop annual safety goals.
