Job summary

Oatly is seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Manager to support our North America factory team in Millville, New Jersey. You’ll partner with site leadership and our global EHS group to embed safety first and ensure ISO and OSHA standards are met.

This role requires about 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and the ability to coach leaders on safe behaviors. You’ll investigate incidents, own audits, manage waste and regulatory reporting, and drive a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Engineering, Environmental Science or similar.
• ~5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of industrial hygiene, audits, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working with regulators (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Ability to influence from operators to senior leaders.
• Proven compliance expertise and culture-building ability.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and improving things not yet done.

Responsibilities

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
• Own audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage hazardous waste, permits, and environmental monitoring.
• Ensure ISO, OSHA and environmental standards compliance.
• Drive Culture of Care and collaborate with partners.
• Lead emergency response readiness and fire safety programs.
• Collaborate with Global SHE Director and wider SHE community.
