Chewy is seeking a full-time EHS Coordinator for our Reno, NV Fulfillment Center. You will act as the designated shift representative for the Chewy EHS Program, coordinating safety activities and ensuring adherence to federal and state laws.

You will train teammates, conduct risk assessments, and maintain safety metrics to drive continuous improvement. The role requires a minimum of 1 year in EHS or a relevant bachelor’s degree, with flexible shifts including weekends.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year in an EHS-related field or a bachelor’s degree in an EHS-relevant field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in a professional capacity.
• Able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, or weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as designated EHS shift representative and coordinate Chewy EHS Program activities.
• Train and coach team members on observed at-risk behaviors.
• Support compliance with corporate EHS program expectations and federal/state laws.
• Conduct risk assessments and COVID-19/ergonomic considerations as needed.
• Maintain EHS metrics and audits to inform leadership decisions.
• Lead EHS trainings and assist site EHS Manager as required.
• Communicate EHS risks and improvement opportunities to leadership.
