Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Part-Time, On-Site EAP Counselor for Edwards AFB, CA.

The role delivers assessment, consultation, education and triage services, using knowledge of federal regulations to support employees and organizations and to restore functioning after problems. The counselor will manage a caseload, perform crisis intervention, coordinate referrals, and participate in trainings to promote client wellbeing and organizational performance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavioral Health is required.
• Current licensure required: LCSW-C, LCSW, LMHC, LPCC, LPC (independently licensed).
• Minimum 5 years clinical experience after graduate degree.
• Knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA and Drug Free Workplace requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee and management consultation on personal and workplace issues.
• Conduct crisis intervention and short-term counseling including EAP orientations.
• Manage caseload with timely documentation.
• Refer clients to appropriate level of care and community resources.
• Develop working relationships to support high-performance teams.
• Adhere to contract requirements and company policies.
• Participate in trainings and team activities.
