Job summary

Saulsbury Industries seeks an On-Site Quality Control Manager for the E&I division in Abernathy, TX, reporting to the Divisional Quality Manager. This role ensures quality procedures, certifies staff, and coordinates with clients, subs, and project managers on a major electrical and instrumenta­tion project.

You will implement the Quality Inspection and Test Plan, oversee 3rd party inspections, and maintain comprehensive project quality records through turnover.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 yrs experience as an E&I project quality inspector.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to clear drug and background requirements.
• Experience in E&I disciplines and multi‑disciplined teams.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of NEC, NETA, IEEE, VE‑2 codes.
• Good reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client reps, Saulsbury PM, construction management and subs.
• Review project docs/drawings to ensure quality procedures.
• Certify on-site staff are properly certified.
• Provide weekly reports to Divisional/Project Manager.
• Implement approved Quality Inspection and Test Plan.
• Coordinate client witnessing and hold point approvals.
• Oversee 3rd party inspections and testing for compliance.
• Maintain and review project quality docs and turnover books.
• Perform system completion walk-downs and report deficiencies.
• Maintain punch list and report items weekly.
