Job summary

Saulsbury Industries seeks an On-site Quality Control Inspector for the E&I division at the Permian Basin site in Western Texas. The role reports to the Project E&I QC Lead/PM and ensures conformance with quality plans and client requirements.

Responsibilities include document review, certifications oversight, weekly reporting, and coordination of third-party inspections. Candidates should have NEC/NETA/IEEE/VE-2 knowledge, strong communication, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 yrs. experience as an E&I project quality inspector.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Able to clear drug and background requirements.
• Experience in E&I disciplines and working with multi-disciplined teams of onsite personnel.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and Word.
• Proven communication skills to foster an environment of teamwork.
• Knowledge and experience working with codes including NEC, NETA, IEEE, VE-2.
• Good written communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and drawings to ensure quality procedure and work practice compliance.
• Ensure all on-site staff are properly certified for their work.
• Report completion status and quality inspections to the Project E&I QC Lead or Project Manager weekly.
• Implement the approved Quality Inspection and Test Plan.
• Organize client witnessing of required hold points and approval of hold point documentation.
• Oversee 3rd Party inspections and testing performance, and review documents for compliance with project quality requirements.
• Provide quality oversight of the work being performed.
• Maintain and review project quality documentation and data accumulated throughout the project.
• Perform system completion walk-downs and reporting of deficiencies discovered.
• Maintain punch list of discrepancies and report open items weekly.
• Report all discrepancies or concerns to the Project Manager and Division Quality Manager.
• Provide quality-related guidance to field project groups.
• Conduct in-process monitoring of E&I discipline work tasks for compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure subcontracted 3rd Party personnel perform tasks safely and in accordance with safety, environmental and health requirements.
