This role emphasizes precision, safety, and customer-facing professionalism as you perform on-site installations across the Columbia area, test hardware for function and compliance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure all work meets industry standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hardware installation or related skilled trade.
• Ability to read technical drawings and hardware schedules.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial and residential door hardware including locks, hinges, closers, and exit devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, door schedules, and hardware specifications
• Perform on-site hardware installations at customer locations across the greater Columbia area
• Inspect and test installed hardware to ensure proper function and code compliance
• Troubleshoot and repair existing hardware systems as needed
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and customers to ensure timely completion
• Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness and safety standards
