Job summary

Piedmont Door Solutions is seeking an Automatic Door Repair and Install Technician for our Columbia, SC area. You will install, repair, and maintain doors and related entrance products at commercial sites, hospitals, stores, and more.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 75+ pounds, and the stamina to work in varied conditions. Training, tools, and vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate power and hand tools safely in commercial settings.
• High school diploma or GED required; background check and drug screen required.
• Must possess an unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to stand, bend, and climb for long periods; lift 75+ pounds and work at heights using a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install, repair, and maintain doors, turnstiles, revolving doors, and other entrance or security products.
• Proactively assist in projects and demonstrate autonomy in a high-expectation, low-supervision environment.
• Learn techniques from the trainer and grow existing skills.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional worksite and high workmanship standards.
• Coordinate with office staff to order and track parts, materials, and time spent on services.
