Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a long-term DoD enterprise networking program, on-site at Quantico, VA. You will help design, implement, administer, and optimize large-scale networks across secure military environments.

Requirements include 7+ years in enterprise IT, Cisco/Juniper/Brocade experience, strong routing and security skills, and an active Secret Clearance with IAT Level III. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually with full benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise IT and network engineering.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and other enterprise platforms.
• Expertise in routing, switching, security, performance optimization, and network architecture.
• Experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, PKI, IAM, and two-factor authentication.
• Active Secret Clearance; IAT Level III certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise LAN, WAN, and WAN infrastructure.
• Engineer and integrate routing and switching solutions using BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VRF, MPLS.
• Implement and maintain network security controls including ACLs, IPsec VPNs, firewalls, and secure architectures.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, proxy services, URL filtering, and caching solutions.
• Support modernization efforts: upgrades, migrations, multivendor integrations, performance analysis, capacity planning.
