Job summary

JT4 LLC seeks an Information Systems Security Officer for China Lake, CA. This on-site role supports DoD cyber security programs, develops and maintains system security plans, conducts audits and incident response to protect information systems.

An ideal candidate will have five years in computer security, DoD 8570.01-M compliance, Security+ with CISSP desired, and the ability to work in field environments while pursuing a government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associates or higher degree in Computer/Information Technology, or equivalent training/certification.
• Five years of experience in computer system security and/or related areas.
• Must be compliant to DoD 8570.01-M levels; Security+ certification with CISSP desired.

Responsibilities

• Provides incident handling in conjunction with the FSO and ISSO/ISSM.
• Assists in writing and maintaining security processes to meet Air Force RMF requirements.
• Monitors computer system use and audit logs.
• Makes recommendations for hardware/software implementations and process improvements.
• Exhibits leadership, teamwork and customer service skills.
• Provides operational status as required and conducts security training briefings.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.
