Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG) seeks a mid- to senior-level HVAC Technician to support a DoD client at a federal site in Indian Head, MD.

You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, diagnose electronic and mechanical components, and support small-scale projects from concept to completion. Requires at least 2 years of HVAC experience, Journeyman license, EPA refrigerant certification, BAS knowledge, and willingness to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of HVAC experience.
• Journeyman licensure required.
• EPA Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience with BAS is required.
• Familiarity with local codes and NFPA standards a plus.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units and components.
• Diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on diverse systems.
• Support small-scale projects from concept through completion.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and time sheets.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Document facility conditions and project status.
