Job summary

Saltbox is seeking a Dock Sortation Specialist to act as the execution engine of our new Dock Sorting function. You will be on the floor each shift, scanning packages, sorting them accurately, staging for drivers, and ensuring every package gets where it needs to go on time.

You will work with a small crew processing hundreds of packages per shift using handheld scanning technology. Shifts are early morning, and you may also help with other parts of Saltbox operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for 6+ hours and lift/move packages up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodation provided).
• Available for early morning shifts (typically 5:00am–1pm) on a rotating 7-day schedule with two consecutive days off.

Responsibilities

• Scan every inbound package using handheld device and ensure correct bin assignment.
• Maintain target scan rate and accurate sortation to prevent delays.
• Move sorted batches to driver handoff zone before dispatch window and assist with dispatch scans.
• Keep the sortation area clean, organized, and safe throughout your shift.
