WS Development is seeking a Director, Construction to lead Station Square redevelopment in Pittsburgh, a historic waterfront district undergoing multi-year transformation. The on-site leader will drive planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution across core & shell, infrastructure, and tenant improvements, while ensuring minimal disruption to tenants and hotel operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 10-12+ years of commercial construction experience with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience delivering construction on active, occupied mixed-use or retail properties.
• Familiarity with the Pittsburgh/Western PA market, permitting, and local stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management, budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills; able to represent the company publicly.
• Willingness to be based on-site in Pittsburgh daily; periodic travel to MA for meetings.

Responsabilidades

• Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution of all construction activity across the Station Square redevelopment.
• Serve as the primary on-site construction leader, coordinating multiple concurrent projects while maintaining safe operations.
• Liaise between WS Development departments and general contractors, testing companies, and onsite design teams.
• Review and approve project budgets, schedules, change orders, monthly requisitions, and construction contracts.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage risks related to adaptive reuse, and phased construction around rail, marina, and trails.
• Guide constructability and design reviews to optimize feasibility and execution.
• Oversee turnover of spaces to Tenant Construction, Operations and Leasing teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in construction processes over the multi-year program.
