Job summary

Precise Systems, Inc. is seeking a Digital Network Engineer to deliver critical implementation of new EW systems and develop digital products with full system configuration. You will lead FPGA-based design, DSP algorithms, and high-speed digital integration on complex RF platforms.

The role requires on-site work in Indiana five days a week with no remote delivery. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 3+ years in digital product development and embedded systems is expected, along

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
• Minimum 3 years' experience with development of digital products and full system configuration.
• Familiar with hardware design and development of embedded systems utilizing FPGAs, MPsoCs, or ASICs.
• Experience with DSP principles and algorithms, as well as design principles ofAnalog circuits from DC to microwave.
• Familiar with lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, function & signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with PNT design practices and theory of operation.
• Experience working in EW & SIGINT.
• Develop and implement signal processing algorithms for RF receivers and/or transceivers on FPGA/embedded hardware.
• Analysis of signal processing and comms performance using Matlab, Python, or similar.
• Experience with modeling tools (STK, Builder).
• Systems engineering experience in complex RF systems.
• Knowledge/experience related to signal processing and RF link performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead reverse engineering efforts of complex EW transmitters.
• Design, test, and integration of FPGA-based products including DSP, high-speed comms, and SOC.
• Optimize implementations to meet system requirements or propose alternatives.
• Contribute to design, simulation, verification, integration, and test of high-speed digital products.
• Produce and archive documentation for the design to ensure customer support.
