Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field is required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Dietician in a healthcare or skilled nursing setting preferred.
• One to two years of management/supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and provides supervision to staff to meet nutritional needs per standards.
• Participates in department meetings and interdisciplinary care planning.
• Manages food purchases within budget and ensures adequate meal supplies.
• Guides diet planning, menu formulation, preparation and service of diets.
• Ensures menus meet resident nutrition and physician orders.
