Job summary

Cornerstone Detention Products is seeking a on-site Project Manager in Elmore, Alabama to oversee full life-cycle delivery. You will coordinate with project engineers, field resources, vendors, subcontractors, and customers to plan, execute, and close projects on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication, knowledge of building codes, Excel, Word, blueprints across detention, security, mechanical, electrical and structural trades, and proactive cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering, building science, or related field.
• 5 years of experience as a construction project manager or equivalent.
• 8+ years of equivalent construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project records and costing, value schedules, and change orders.
• Schedule manpower and coordinate material deliveries.
• Report project progress and status to stakeholders.
• Manage change orders and obtain written approvals.
• Coordinate with Contract Manager, scheduler, procurement and PE on changes.
• Conduct site visits and kickoff meetings for project readiness and issues.
