Job summary

Cornerstone Detention Products is seeking an on-site Project Manager to oversee the full life cycle of detention construction projects. You will coordinate with project engineers, field resources, vendors, subcontractors and customers to plan, schedule, and execute tasks while maintaining compliance with codes and standards.

The role requires strong communication, scheduling and budgeting skills, reading blueprints for multiple trades, and experience with Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, building science or relevant field.
• 5 years of experience as a construction project manager or equivalent.
• 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and MS Office; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain job records/files including job costing, billing information, schedule of values, change orders.
• Schedule manpower and coordinate material and equipment deliveries.
• Report on project progress/status and manage change orders with customers/architect.
• Initiate and coordinate change orders; obtain written approvals and update schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Superintendent to meet profitability targets and resolve-field coordination issues.
• Communicate timely with field management through reports and documentation.
