Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Phoenix is seeking a Dental Hygiene Instructor for the Phoenix Campus. This full-time, on-site role will translate clinical expertise into classroom and lab instruction within a CODA-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an agency recognized by USDE or CHEA
• Graduate of a CODA-accredited Dental Hygiene or Dental program
• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time clinical experience as a Dental Hygienist or Dentist
• Current, unrestricted Arizona RDH or dental license with active CPR certification
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and educational computer applications

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily lessons aligned to course objectives using active learning methods
• Provide chairside guidance in preclinical and lab settings
• Monitor student progress and intervene when grades fall below 77%
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records
• Assist in curriculum review, safety compliance, and accreditation reporting
• Mentor students and provide constructive feedback for professional development
