Job summary

Pima Medical Institute in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Dental Hygienist to serve as Dental Hygiene Clinical Director for our CODA-accredited program. You will oversee daily clinical operations, mentor clinical faculty, and ensure students develop the competency and safety standards for professional practice.

This full-time, on-site role requires a Bachelor's or higher, CODA accreditation graduate, and at least three years of clinical dental hygiene experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted state dental hygiene license.
• Minimum of three years of clinical dental hygiene experience.
• Experience leading clinical staff and managing clinics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and clinical software.
• Knowledge of CODA accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and ensure patient care standards.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule, and evaluate clinical faculty.
• Mentor students and coordinate clinical education.
• Maintain CODA accreditation and ensure safety policies.
• Manage clinic budget and procurement within annual budget.
• Engage with local dental community for outreach.
• Support employee ownership and benefits programs.
