Job summary

SAPA Transmission, a DoD contractor, is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support technical projects for defense and government customers in Shelby Township, MI. This role coordinates with engineering and program teams to track schedules, budgets, action items, and customer communications while ensuring project requirements are met.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and 3+ years of project management experience, with proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in project/ program management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Support planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects to meet cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program teams.
• Maintain project schedules, action item trackers, risk registers, and performance metrics.
• Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and progress against program milestones.
• Prepare status reports, presentations, and materials for customer and management reviews.
• Facilitate technical meetings, design reviews, and cross-functional communication.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, company procedures, and quality standards.
• Support issue resolution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
