Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Technician to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of data center environments. This hands-on role focuses on hardware and network diagnostics, physical repair, and support of mission-critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and assembly.
• Experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Ability to transport and position equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Cisco IOS and/or Juniper JunOS.
• Experience in data center environments.
• Flexibility to work a 24/7 schedule including on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data center operations to ensure service availability and reliability.
• Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform root cause analysis of hardware and software failures.
• Train internal teams.
• Develop documentation.
• Provide technical support to data center teams.
• Develop scripts to update server and networking hardware.
• Maintain inventory.
• Assemble and install equipment.
• Perform maintenance of test and tool equipment.
• Travel up to 10% of the time to other data center locations as required by business needs.
• Respond to on-site equipment failures or emergencies within 60 minutes while scheduled on-call.
