Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Katy, TX is seeking a Data Center Technician to join the team for a full-time on-site role. You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment in a world-class data center facility.

The position includes on-call rotation, shift differentials for nights/weekends, and opportunities to work with IT infrastructure teams. Candidates should have 3+ years in data center operations and strong cabling skills, with preferred DCIM, ITIL, and vendor certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (Cat6/6a, fiber).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
