Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead the physical security scope on an active data center build near Shreveport, LA. You will own the security package from design through installation and closeout, coordinating with the general contractor, client team, and security integrators.

You will be on-site, attend construction meetings, read plans, verify installed work against design, and keep the security scope on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction or capital project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, schedules, and budgets on active construction sites.
• Proficiency reading construction plans, elevations, and design documents.
• Working knowledge of physical security systems such as access control, intrusion detection, and camera surveillance.
• Willingness to be on-site at the construction location and to travel occasionally for training and client meetings (up to approximately 20%).

Responsibilities

• Own the physical security scope on an active data center construction site from design through installation and closeout.
• Manage security integrator vendors against scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Read and work from construction plans, elevations, and design documents across architectural, electrical, and telecommunications disciplines.
• Attend construction planning and coordination meetings and represent the security scope.
• Run QA/QC on installed security systems including access control, intrusion detection, camera surveillance, and perimeter protection.
• Track change orders, review vendor invoices for accuracy, and make recommendations to program leadership.
• Provide regular status updates on schedule, budget, and installation progress.
