Job summary

CloudFirst is seeking a Data Center Manager to lead on-site data-center operations from Marietta, GA, overseeing the Atlanta facility and partner sites with two direct reports. You will manage colocation relationships, budgets, and audits to ensure stable, secure, and compliant environments.

The role emphasizes cost discipline, asset lifecycle management, and cross-site coordination, with a focus on SLAs, safety, and documentation. This is an on-site position aligned with CloudFirst values.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing data-center facilities or operations with on-site leadership.
• Budget or P&L accountability for a facility, department, or site.
• Multisite or colocation operations experience including contractors and vendors.
• Working knowledge of power, cooling, racks, cabling, and hardware logistics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data-center facilities operations at the Atlanta site and partner/colocation sites.
• Manage colocation contracts, service levels, and costs with vendors and contractors.
• Own facility budget, cost tracking, and drive cost efficiency across sites.
• Maintain compliance evidence for ISO 27001, SOC 2, and PCI DSS; support audits.
• Own hardware asset lifecycle, inventory, and deployment/decommissioning.
• Plan capacity, power density, rack layout, and cooling; lead build-outs and closures.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and site templates for repeatable operations.
• Develop coverage plans to ensure no single point of failure for critical functions.
