Job summary

E Tech Group seeks an On-Site Construction Manager to supervise installation phases of Data Center projects, coordinating with General and Subcontractors and the internal project team. You will report to the Lead Project Manager, ensuring deadlines and scope are met while driving proactive cost control and risk mitigation on site.

Local to the Port Washington area and willing to report on-site, you bring a BS in Engineering and 10 years of construction or project-management experience to drive

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
• 10 years in project and/or construction management environment.
• Proficient in project and construction management principles, methods, and tools.
• Experience in industrial controls for data centers, building management, or related industries.
• Experience in building construction and managing subcontractors.
• DNA of collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Be in charge of the E Tech Low Voltage Subcontractor’s scope and schedule for installation of Data Center projects.
• Deliver the installation portion on time and under budget as defined by the Lead Project Manager.
• Communicate with client and subcontractors by working closely with the Lead PM.
• Develop the project labor resource plan and quality control plan to meet schedule and budget.
• Maintain scope control and contract compliance; secure Change Orders and explore additional scope opportunities.
• Develop and maintain project cost budgets; forecast costs and manage earned value to avoid overruns.
• Coordinate with project team to hit milestones on schedule, allocate resources, and communicate progress.
