Interclypse, Inc. is seeking an experienced cybersecurity specialist to administer SIEM, EDR, and related security platforms in Maryland.

The role includes managing vulnerability processes, backups, and helping ensure government data security compliance. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT with at least 2 years on security-focused systems, and an associates degree in a technical field (bachelor’s degree treated as equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CS/IS or related field preferred; bachelor degree counts as equivalent experience.
• 3 years of experience in a computer-related field.
• At least 2 years administering enterprise IT systems, with 1+ year focused on a security-specific platform (e.g., SIEM, EDR, enterprise firewalls).

Responsibilities

• Administer and operate cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability systems).
• Monitor system performance, backups, and capacity; ensure compliance with gov data security requirements.
• Support managers in adhering to government security policies and controls.
