Alderson Loop seeks a Cybersecurity Architect / Security Assessment Consultant to support a large enterprise in energy and utilities. You will review architectures, assess risks, and recommend security controls to align with enterprise standards.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity with emphasis on architecture or assessments, strong network security knowledge, and experience communicating risks to technical and business audiences. On-site in Florida.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on architecture or security assessments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security and controls.
• Experience evaluating technologies and communicating risks to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud security concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks (NIST/ISO 27001/CIS).

Responsabilités

• Review solutions and architectures across networks, cloud, and applications to identify security risks.
• Conduct cybersecurity architecture assessments and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate compliance with standards and best practices.
• Document findings, assign risk ratings, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, cloud, and business teams on new technologies.
• Clearly communicate security risks and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Support risk acceptance discussions and document identified risks.
