Job summary

Cosma International in Birmingham, AL seeks a Customer Liaison to ensure accurate, complete parts data and clear information flow between customer plant and Kamtek. You will inspect parts, address non-conformances, and support continuous quality improvements on the line.

Responsibilities include enforcing safety, promoting Magna principles, performing containment, rework, and audits, and communicating findings to QA and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce all plant safety rules and policies.
• Understand and promote Magna's philosophies.
• Perform containment of non-conforming product, and arrange assistance as needed.
• Perform rework on non-conforming product to customer requirements and arrange assistance as needed.
• Provide feedback of potential concerns at customer.
• Support Root Cause analysis on defects.
• Issue Quality Alerts when requested by the customer for nonconforming product.
• Perform audits on the floor - check parts to ensure meet all Customer Specific Requirements.
• Provide direction for associates / contractors who help with containment, sorts, rework and tracking.
• Attend customer product review meetings and report back findings to Kamtek.
• Provide a daily shift report of issues to Kamtek Quality Engineers, Management.
• Promotes good housekeeping (5S).
• Perform other duties as required.
