Jacobs is hiring an On-Site CSA Engineer for a project near Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on on-site representation for civil, structural, and architectural disciplines during construction, coordinating between Owner, Contractor, and design teams.

You will lead daily site walks, review field conditions, and drive timely design clarifications to ensure work aligns with contract documents while supporting QA/QC and BIM coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in large-scale commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction projects; or 5+ years supporting hyperscale data centers.
• Strong understanding of CSA systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in an active construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for CSA-related design and construction matters.
• Perform daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, compliance, and constructability.
• Coordinate civil, structural, and architectural design issues between field teams and design consultants.
• Evaluate field conditions and facilitate timely design clarifications and revisions.
