Job summary

Solidus Resources is seeking a Process Operations Superintendent to lead the new gold processing operation at the Lovelock, NV mine. The role focuses on establishing crusher, conveying, heap leach and startup activities, while building and mentoring the operations team for safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years in operations leadership roles.
• Experience with crushers, conveyors, heap leach construction and dust-control systems.
• Experience operating an ADR facility.
• Strong knowledge of gold pyrometallurgy and hydrometallurgy.
• Experience supervising technical staff.
• Knowledge of metallurgical accounting practices.
• Proven ability to lead innovative projects from concept through design.
• Experience presenting and publishing high-quality technical work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible safety leadership and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Direct process operations crews, set clear expectations and accountability for safety and production.
• Coordinate with leach pad, ADR, maintenance, metallurgy, safety and environmental teams.
• Maintain safe, reliable and environmentally compliant plant operations.
• Coach, train and develop employees through onboarding, mentoring and cross-training.
• Participate in recruitment, performance management and employee development.
• Monitor plant performance, identify bottlenecks and improve efficiency and equipment utilization.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, including safe shutdowns and preparations.
• Conduct workplace inspections and maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Develop and improve operating procedures, strategies and business plans.
• Maintain training and operational records; use SAP for reporting.
• Promote teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement.
