Job summary

City of Indianapolis is seeking a supervisor to plan and lead job-site activities, coordinating materials, equipment and crew members to ensure efficient project execution. The role involves hands-on leadership and active participation as part of the crew.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and at least four years of related work experience. A commercial CDL is preferred; a pre-employment physical is required, and you must be able to lift 25 pounds or more.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent and at least four years of related work experience.
• A valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is preferred; Class B license required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 25 pounds or more.
• Basic computer operation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead the job site work effort including coordination of materials, equipment and crew members.
• Functions as a working member of the crew, coordinates and leads the functions of the crew.
• Works with crew members to encourage problem solving to create a better work product.
• Reports daily production results and participate as a working crew member.
