Responsibilities

• Collect, review and verify provider credentials including education, licensure, board certification, work history, and malpractice history.
• Monitor expiring documents to ensure up-to-date licensures, certifications, and malpractice insurance information.
• Enter and update provider information into credentialing database.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential records in both electronic and paper formats.
• Serve as primary point of contact for providers regarding status and credentialing requirements.
• Assist providers in completing applications and gathering necessary documentation.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and post privileges on intranet.
• Supports Medical Staff Manager and participates in meetings and affiliation verifications.
