Job summary

Beaumont, TX-based Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking an entry-level Heavy Equipment Technician to maintain and repair cranes. The role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting in the field, and on-call after-hours or weekend service as required.

This on-site position requires safety-first mindset and ability to work with a team. You must have High School/GED, 0-2 years crane experience, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to work safely and communicate well with others.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field.
• Perform OSHA required crane inspections and generate reports.
• Coordinate with Service Manager to schedule work daily.
• Operate tools and equipment safely; report deficiencies.
• Attend trainings and provide after-hours or weekend service as required.
